R56 turbosmart dual port issues
turbosmart dual port issues
i got a kompact dual port shortie a few months back. i installed it and test drove it and the bov just ever so slightly vented but hardly. i have inspected the vacuum line and the boost reference adapter and found no issues. i have also taken it apart. nothings froze and i even adjusted it to its lightest setting and still nothing. i also i disconnected the vacuum line to see if it was seize to make any noise and it was exactly the same as if it was connected.
after some research i have found these cars make hardly any vacuum so now im sitting here scratching my head wondering what the issue is because i cant find any posts regarding this bov or people experiencing the same issue. i have talked to turbosmart and they said nobody has had a issue using this and i dont know why they would have sold a vacuum controlled bov for a car that doesn't hardly create vacuum.
so has anybody used this product or does anybody have any feedback and suggestions for me to try.
