Going to replace the chrome trim pieces (#8 both sides and #2 in image) as rubber is beginning to separate.
I have the replacement chrome pieces as well as the inserts (#s 7,6, and 3) as well as extra clips (#9) and a set of Schwaben trim tools.

I have found exactly one Youtube that shows some of the process, but not great.

I would like to know where the inserts go, how to install them, and any removal/installation tips from anyone who has done this. Looked everywhere for write ups but can not find any. Thanks!
