Amazon is not an authorized Bosch parts dealer

Do not buy Bosch O2 sensors from Amazon (or RockAuto for that matter) according to Bosch's tech support. 1-888-715-3616 is the # for Bosch. Call if you don't believe me.

Note, I've bought 3 of them for my R56 and all 3 have failed. Despite resetting all sensor adaptations. Were they fake's? I doubt it. Actually they were NTK's in Bosch boxes but even Bosch admitted that was correct. They re-box NTKs for our cars.

Anyway, Bosch said they receive calls daily from Amazon and RockAuto customers complaining about failed units and they claim Amazon is not authorized to sell Bosch. (absurd, even the Amazon rep disagreed)

They wanna make money through Amazon but they claim they are not guaranteed to be genuine products.

Yes Amazon appears to honor the 12 month warranty that Bosch offers but none of this makes sense to me.
