Priming the fuel Rail

Was wanting to know if anyone has primed there fuel rail on here? In regards to installing a new headgasket type procedure.
I don't want the unnessary torque by repeated starts because it takes about two start button starts before the fuel rail is charged and engine is running.
So What I was gonna do is prime the fuel rail before I put the head on is that possible?; or is there another way?
