07 S Speaker Upgrade

About to upgrade my stereo and debating on swapping speakers as well. Has anyone found a good speaker for the middle door speaker?

I plan to use MTX Terminator 6s in the lower portion, and MTX Terminator 69 for the back seat. They are entry level, but I like the red cones, and it's just my commuter.

Just not sure what to do for the middle one.

You'll need this to install the tweeters in the upper door speaker position.

I have never seen that board before, thanks for the link. So do you leave to tweeter in the pillar there, and did you connect both or just the door tweeter? Seems odd the have three separate speakers and then only replace them with two.

If you have the Harmon Kardon system I'd specifically look to see if there is any information regarding replacing those drivers directly.

In the standard mini stereo setup there are only two speakers (no tweeter) so replacing the woofer and mid with a woofer and tweeter is the preferred route.
