Did an oil change yesterday on my Clubman. I HATE where the oil filter is located... Even got a couple drips from the coolant reservoir while moving out of the way.

I'd like to either move the oil filter somewhere else or relocate the coolant bottle. Anything out there?

"RPM Power" is making an oil filter relocation kit but I expect it will be very, very expensive. That's the only option I've seen, and not much information on it other than some photos on their Instagram page. Otherwise just diy coolant reservior relocation but I only really see that with people that have the old DoS intake or similar that eliminates the oem airbox and associated piping, or that uses the expansion tank location for air filter placement. You get used to the oil changes after a while. Long extensions and swivel sockets are a must.

 

Same issue here, The location of the oil filter could have been much better Just need to add a little more to the pia factor. It would be nice to get it out into some clean air to aid in cooling a little.

 

As far as it is known on the community, DNA Stage 3 CAI is the only one that comes with a kit to swap locations of cai and coolant expansion tank. Literally a swap in location. Super expensive though...
