R56 headlamp adjuster bolt?

headlamp adjuster bolt?
Arrow points to bolt on drivers side, which is missing on passenger side, is this an adjuster?
Tried to remove to try fitting to other side, it just seemed to keep turning.Thought it would come out, is there more than just the bolt that needs to be replaced?
The photo photo below shows headlamp Passenger side arrow points to where there should be a bolt, is this an adjuster? missing

Those bolts are for adjusting the fit of the headlight so it fits into the headlight trim ring on the hood....they will also adjust the aim of the headlight, but I don't believe that is their primary purpose.
They often freeze up in the bolt....which is captive and mounted in plastic. I've had to cut the bolt head off with a Dremel and then replace the nut (part number 63122752224).
Missing one of the bolts is not an urgent situation.....
Best of luck!
