Hi everyone,

I've got a 2013 R56 with the stock boost stereo. When I set the fader to all the way to the rear, the speakers barely make much sound at all. Is this how they're supposed to be, or do mine need to be replaced?

 

Mine sounds like campbell thin cans at the rear actually LOL! The 4 speakers at the front makes most of the sound. If you will replace it better replace all 6 to benefit or just don't put the fader on center and forget about putting all at the rear.

I've read that the channel swap doesn't have much of an effect on LCI models

 

I installed 6x9 coaxials and it made a very noticeable difference. Only downside was that everything including the balance was reversed.

 

it made a huge difference on my 2012. hey, its cheap to try and if you don't think it helped, put it back.
