I need help with my 2008 MCS R56 side marker lights. Took a major hit on highway and had front lower spoiler ripped from the bumper and mangled the right side marker light cable. I have replaced the "Fitting" to the bulb & tested the bulb and new fitting for continuity. Not sure power is getting to the cable. Next up checking the fuses, but just not sure whats going on. I also have the left rear marker light out which is very strange it being out the same time the left front is out.
Any idea's are appreciated

 

I would trace those wires and check the fuses. I bet some of the wires got pulled on from the bumper and thats where your break is. I hope it did not damae the footwell module, but that would have to have a direct hit on the quarter panel for that/.

 

Thanks for the help. I will check the fuses and lines as best as I can. Barring that I may have the MINI dealer run a diagnostic to narrow down parts.

 

Bad news. It was the Footwell Module. Ordered part and will install then take it in for programming. Bummer
