Over a year ago I brought up the topic of getting Xenon headlights and was advised not to. Me being a recent college grad I had to do what I had to do to rid those dull halogens. Needless to say, my Xenon Supply lights failed after a year of flickering. Opened the hood and found out a fuse melted/burned out whatever. Can deal with these stock dull lights.

Suggestions for light upgrades on the HID side? Halo's.? Idk.? I need something bright!!!

 

I went with Xenon Depot's Extreme HID kit, 35w ballasts and 5000k bulbs. I've been using them 9 months, 5-6 nights per week and no problems yet. Before I purchased these I tried several overpriced 55-65w halogen bulbs, and some LEDs. None came close to HID. I have used kits from this company several times over the years and all were reliable, good support.

The Retrofit Source is considered one of the best for plug and play kits or projector mods, about the same price as XD.

I haven't seen any kits under $100 that are worth buying.

Edit: I should mention I am using HIDs in aftermarket projector housings, not the stock reflector headlights.

 

Some of those off brand Xenon kits from ebay might toast the fuses and stuff.

I found the conversion to a projector headlight and then Xenon kit from Morimoto or the retrofit works best.
