R56 cooper s oil cooler bolts

Hi All
I am currently replacing the gasket on my oil filter cooler assembly on my 2007 R56 cooper S as a precaution whilst I change a leaking turbo oil feed. The heat exchanger Which is stamped Modine, was fixed to the filter housing with 5 dome head internal torque bolts with no washers, one of which I need to replace as one is rounded off. However the parts I have just purchased from mini dealer are flat headed internal torque with a washer. The dealer says these are the correct bolts having double checked their system but doing an internet search the only place I see them is on the R53 oil cooler. Has anyone else heard that they have updated the recommend bolts, or failing that does anyone know the part number of the correct bolts so I can order with part number. The thread and length of bolt looks the same but with the washer fitted the engaged thread length will be less
thanks
Wes

Pictures of the bolts in question would be most helpful. In the context of fasteners it is "torx" not "torque" See this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx

The new look fine to me. I guess you'll have one less thread engaged but I don't think that is a problem. Just one engineer's opinion after thirty plus years of breaking and fixing cars......

Correct bolts can be viewed on RealOEM --- http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select
Enter the last few numbers of your VIN and browse for the area of interest --- in your case, "engine" - "lubrication system". You'll find dealer part numbers, quantity, and sizes (if you want to use your local hardware store). Will others work???? Probably --- these aren't critical, just observe proper torque settings and tightening sequence.
