Passenger Airbag Sensor Out of Stock?

I took my mini in to check the airbag sensor for the passenger and they found that it needs replacing. They said the part was a few months to replace. Has anyone else had this issue?

They have to replace the seat pad and that model and dependent on options for the seat might be on Backorder.
