Correct me if I am wrong, but is there any way to have a super negative offset setup and run these 12" rotors on a smaller wheel?
Totally confused myself there. The general width of the caliper would not be the biggest problem, it would be the height huh? Something that big would not clear a 15 regardless of its offset right?

Excuse my lack of wheel/brake knowledge!

I was wondering what you were getting at.

On my Wilwoods, the 11.75" rotors will fit under 15" wheels, but it is really tight. The 12.2" rotors need 16" wheels and the 12.75 need 17" wheels.

Another point. If you research wheel weights you will find that there is little difference in weight between the available lightweight 16 and 17" wheels. There is no difference in tire weight. Also there is less in good tire options for 16" wheels. So the the real options for MINIs are 15" and 17" wheels. Pick one and build your car around it. Otherwise you will wind up like me, someone who has 5 sets of different sizes of wheels and tires.

Don't you dare complain about having too many wheels hahaha

I think I'm going to run 17's if I can get a kit to adapt these CTS-V's. If not, 15 all the way. I am leaning towards Enkei or Apex (hardly anyone runs these yet they look amazing and weigh very little), either way I'm going to probably end up buying pre owned to keep costs down. Rather put more into a really good set of tires.

I've driven my 2011 at COTA with few mods. ST Coilovers, JB+, Wagner Intercooler, EBC Yellow Pads, and most important of all Bridgestone Potenza S04s on 16" BBS RFs. The tires make all the difference. The rest of the mods added a little but coming from a Porsche Cayman, the Mini was great fun on the track. Not as fast as other cars but it is great on track.
