Now I'm a little confused !!!PLUGs

I order up a set of NGK 1422 ILKR8E6
Want to put them in and they would not thread in!
Obviously the threads are to big I guess my question what
Plugs do i need
07 cooper s n14
Turbo GTD 47mm
Front mount
Down pipe
3" exhaust
Manic stage 2 map c hard flash on to th Ecu
High flow intake NM

Now I'm a little confused !!!PLUGs-img_1843.jpg

Probably not what you want to hear.
But I just replaced plugs. Used Beru Off brand Supposedly "The Same"
They were not. Bought Genuine MINI Plugs Car is running great "Like New" And Im out money after trying to "Save". Buy Em From MINI.

My '07MCS uses NGK 1422 with no problem. Takes a larger socket and smaller gap. Maybe they're trying to cross thread --- use a spark plug socket to keep it straight?

Are you using the narrow socket? Many normal sized sockets won't go deep enough to start the threads.
