I know this topic has been covered before, just wanted to get some quick feedback. It is my hope I can get an answer quick and this thread quickly gets swallowed to the volume of the forum.

Mods: CAI and Catless DP

Background: Bought used at 49000 miles now has 75000. Had typical, thermostat housing and timing chain issues. Didn't drive it much since October when I got my new Ford. Started dailying it again-was driving normally until the other day.

Under WOT all of a sudden, immense shuddering in third and a crazy drop in power. From that moment on, anything over half throttle shuddering, very low power in any gear and rough idle. CEL was thrown from the DP but it blinks which indicates its going off from this new issue. Scangauge didn't show anything new but only checked it once will check again this week. Noticed an oil leak on the right side of the car-cant say exactly where from. Apologies for the ambiguity. The oil level is fine and the leak, I suspect, is slow. Builds little more than half boost.

I know the HPFP is a known issue and, honestly, I was just waiting for this to happen. Do you think this is what it could be? Based off prior readings on here my experience only fuels my suspicions.

 

Thats almost exactly when mine went (75K ish). It had a cel which would reset and go off when car was cycled then I would get occasional poor acceleration and power loss then limp mode with cel on. Became way more frequent over time. I bet its HPFP. Take it in and they should replace for free. Mine did pull the code on a generic scanner pretty easily. The mini guys took like 10 min to confirm it when I took it in.
