Strange Clunk After Lowering Springs

Hey everyone, I installed a set of H&R Lowering Springs today on my car and since then, I have been getting a strange clunk in the front end when i hit a bump or bounce the car. I have tightened everything, from the tophat nut to the swaybar, and can not figure out why is it clunking. It sounds metal on metal but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the springs making contact, I thought it was the swaybar at first but I retightened it and it seemed ok. Anyone have any advice?

Depending on how far you lower it you may need adjustable front swaybar links. If too long they'll cause the sway bar to hit.

Tighten the top nuts on the struts all the way. I have the same springs and had the same issue. I tightened them to torque but the resistance of the spring makes it so you hit torque before the mounting plate is firmly at the end of the threads on the strut. Crank them down so you hit the end of the threads then tighten to torque.

Swaybar endlinks will clunk if not torqued.

It was the swaybar endlinks. I took everything apart, inspected everything, and decided to tighten the endlinks with some preload and that fixed the clunking.
