R56 Misaligned Outer Front Passenger Seat Rail
Misaligned Outer Front Passenger Seat Rail
EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out. There's a metal piece sticking out of a white plastic piece. I had to press on that metal piece. It has something to do with the memory for the seat position when you flip the upper part of the seat forward.
So I was installing the Rennline fire extinguisher mount and somehow pushed the outer rail of the front passenger too far back.
I went to reinstall everything and was going to put the T40 torx bolt back that holds the rail to the chassis and noticed that the rail was covering the hole.
Any ideas how to push the rail back forward far enough to uncover the hole?
In the first picture, you can see how the inner rail slides a lot further forward.
In the second picture, you can see the section that bolts directly to the chassis and how it's covered by the rail section.
In the third picture, you can see how that bottom part won't slide forward anymore.
I'm not sure where the stopping points are on the rail. Seems like I pushed the seat too hard and it jumped over the stopping point.
