My buddy and i went to look at a very clean 07 S and when we went to open the hood the cable was fully extended and would open the hood... Kinda frustrating the car looks great and ran good but looking under the hood is important. Any ideas we tried pulling on the cable while someone pushed on the hood and got nothing.

I did not witness it but he said he just grabbed the black housing and the wire and just pulled in different directions and it just opened up

 

Research the N14 engine if you're going to buy it.
