Fog light help

so i was walkign to my car yesterday and unlocked it from about 10 feet away and saw that my right fog light did not light up. When I turn the car on and turn the fog lights on they come on so its only the half circle ( i hope someone understands this) thats not lighting up when i push my unlock. Can anyone tell me what bulb i need to replace this light

I believe that what you're referring to is the parking/city light....the top portion of the same housing as the fog light.

If this is correct, the bulb can be replaced by going through the circular cover within the wheel well....it's the lower one that is right behind the fog light assembly...turn it counter-clockwise. You'll see the fog light assembly. I can't remember exactly how the parking light comes out....believe that you turn the bulb housing counter clockwise. The housing is small, black, and when it's out it is a cylinder about the size of a half smoked cigarette...maybe smaller. the blub is mounted in the housing and then the assembly goes back in.

HOWEVER, that assembly can be a bear to get out....I've ruined some of them in the past. They seem to get corroded in place....even though everything in there is plastic (I think).

The housing is-

I believe that this is the correct bulb-

BTW, I just remove the front wheel when I replace this bulb...probably don't have to, but just turning the steering wheel and leaving the front wheel in place would guarantee that the bulb holder would be difficult to remove. :-)

Good luck.
