heated seats

I'm picking up a 2010 base cooper for the wife this week. She wants heated seats. Can I put heated seats in it? I was hoping to use a factory harness and after market heat pads in the seats. Is this way doable or just go with the aftermarket kit all the way? Thanks

I had after market installed on my 2012 Clubman base with leather seats. Don't know how they did it, but assume battery was never connected when the seats were out due to airbag lights that would got on. Seats were out of the car. Note: The extra fuse was buried in the console. If you have people do it make sure they make fuse accessible in case you need to replace it. Cost $650 turn key.

Got heated seats but don't use them anymore. Got these:

In a drop head, they're really great because they also protect against super hot sun touched seats in the summer time.
