power shifting boost cut?

Hey everyone, I was doing so searching on the forums and cant seem to find an answer. My 2010 MCS will cut the boost to 5 psi when I power shift in 1,2, and 3.... It's like only if I do no-lift shift, it'll cut the boost until I let off the throttle completely then comes back when I go WOT. I am using the clutch.... but just keeping the throttle pinned.

Is that some sort of safety thing? Does anyone else with an r56 have this happen?

I usually see this when getting on the freeway... or racing Audi 2.0Ts.... which I can keep up with btw.... but that's aside the point.

Throttle pedal is electronic no real connection to a butterfly valve, The ECU sees how far and fast you push the pedal as more of a sign wave graph,,, you can log this with engine off ignition on, the ECU is guessing what you want based on this and how fast the car is accelerating,,if you get to a hill it will get larger throttle/pedal angle vs speed assume a hill and lengthen injection timing, cam settings, ignition etc. It just doesnt understand you its a relationship thing, sadly counseling wont help. I often talk to my throttle now asking it to get with the program,,,,,a tune could help or a special add on bit of trick electronics,,,, ps the hill bit is a good clue how to go faster funny how this same power isnt available on the flat, If you start with foot off the pedal then hit the pedal it may finally believe you mean business there is more to this but that would take a few pages
