Get my 2012 to 250HP without voiding warranty

Just as the title says. How do i get my car to 250HP with out voiding the warranty? Currently I have a JB+ installed. I will also be getting a CAI and potentially an exhaust depending if that will void the warranty. I will also be getting some lowering sprigs just ever so slightly though and a sway and strut bar. I will also be getting rims and tires for it. But really want more power. It feels great in 1st-3rd gear but i would like more pull in the higher gears. PLEASE HELP

If you have engine problems and the dealer finds out you've been running with the JB+ your engine warranty will be void

Yeah but how would they know if I take it off before I go?

The short answer is, you can't.

With less than a year of warranty left, why constrain yourself? Start doing the non-engine mods until the warranty runs out, then you can take any approach you want with the engine.

A lot depends on your dealer and what your warranty claim involves --- even with my mod list, I was still able to have timing chain, HPFP, aux water pump, brakes and oil changes all replaced / serviced under warranty. They told me that as long as the mods can be shown to NOT have caused the claim, the warranty is still valid.

This probably doesn't hold true with all dealers, but since I keep a good working relationship with them, and not try to conceal mods, they have been fair with me. This is for both of the two closest dealers in my area. You might try talking with the senior service rep at your dealer and find out how they treat mods with respect to warranty.

My point is that if the warranty is going to expire anyway in a few months (you said it is a 2012), then don't choose your mods based on how it might affect the warranty. Just let the warranty expire and plan your engine mods purely on performance.

Alright so yes I still have warranty but it's extended so I have until 2017. I talked to my dealer ship and they said like you that I can do mods but if they cause something to fail I am liable. That warranty is important to me though as I don't want to pay thousands if something breaks. I will wait to tune until I'm out of warranty. I just use a JB+ for now and plan on probably only doing an intercooler, cold air intake, and I feel like they said exhaust system would void it. I do want to do mods to the rest of my car not visually too much thoughigher. I think it looks good. I'm just looking for upgrade ideas. I want to build around an upgrade path that gets me to a tune. By the way thanks for all the responses guys!
