Stall issue at idle
Hey all,
I have a 2010 Mini justa and I recently changed the water pump and water pipe (the pipe that connects the water pump to the thermostat), and since reassembly I have run into some issues. First of all, I did have to remove the thermostat and ecu harness in the process of replacing the water pipe, and I did pay careful attention to which sensors/connectors went where etc. Now, when I start the car, everything seems normal until about 3 seconds after startup then the engine stalls. It will remain running if i apply light throttle and will maintain constant rpm as long as throttle is applied. No CEL or check lights of any kind. Wondering if anybody else has seen similar issue? Possible pcv leak/bad sensor? Any help would be more than appreciated!

I'd check for a vacuum leak.
