R56 Clock error message after replacing OEM headunit
Clock error message after replacing OEM headunit
Hey All,
I have a 2011 MCS that I just replaced the stock headunit on with a double din pioneer. Sounds so much better with a 5 channel amp and 10" sub set up. However, I am now getting an error message on the tach that shows a clock with a bunch of zeros under it meaning the internal clock and date is not set (obviously since the oem radio was removed). It looked like on the older models (07-10) you could set the clock with the BC button, but it doesn't seem like I can do that anymore with the 2011. My question is if there is any way to remove this error message easily? I really didn't want to relocate the stock unit because there is just no room in this car without tearing our the dash.
Thanks!
