How To Install BSH OCC on 2009 R56 With Optional Hood Latch Sensor?
Hi, so the BSH OCC mounts on a tab that -should- be free. It's located to the right of the air filter housing. However my car has the optional security system and the hood latch sensor now takes up that tab. I know there's a second install spot that would require me to delete the fresh air tube, but I do not want to do that. So, how should I go about installing the OCC?
TIA

I did not have the switch but just make a small bracket and move it.
The OCC are run serially in line with 2 ball valves and a bunch of plumbing so I can separately control how much vacuum and draw from either outlet/inlet or close them entirely and vent to atmosphere on track days. The 2nd can never has anything in it. The bad news is that even with the OCC you will still get carbon build up as there is always some oil vapor in the intake. I checked after 6k miles and some evidence of carbon was on the valves. Good news is that sea foam run into the manifold took care of it.
