Not the Turbo Oil Feed line?

Hey,
What is that second line on the top of the turbo?
Mine is very rusty and might need to be replaced.

Dont forget the banjo bolt and washers if you do change it.

Most people change them due to the connection that goes to the bottom of the expansion tank, because they can leak there over time from oil changes and moving the expansion tank. That's the quick release end.

After replacement you will need to re-bleed the coolant for air in the system. At the top of the thermostat housing.

Top off with MINI coolant after replacement first.

Your oil line is leaking, too.

Oops. You said it wasn't your car. Too bad I can't delete...

Thanks for the great replies!
I'll be replacing both oil and coolant lines this summer.
The pictures I included aren't of my engine, they're just from a google search of the R56 N14.

Being in Canada has restricted where I can get replacement parts though.

Outmotoring will ship internationally. Check them out at www.outmotoring.com

So will Detroit Tuned. http://www.detroittuned.com/shipping-returns/

Both vendors have a better then OEM replacement oil turbo line. It is a Detroit Tuned item.

I was really interested in the DT lines but shipping + customs fees to Nova Scotia is quiet the premium. I'm probably just going to go the local Dealership for OEM replacements.
