Hi all,

Ran into some issue with the Coop a week ago. I would start, no issue. Idle, no issue. Then I tried to get on down the road, and it barely went anywhere, at all. Then finally got it up around 27-2900rpms and all of a sudden I had full power and it took off on me. Once I'm up and past a certain speed, say 45mph, it doesn't happen anymore. Once I come to a stop, rinse & repeat issue. So, we ran the code and it came up basically saying MAP sensor.

No unfortunately I do not remember the exact code, and it was a generic reader. Called Mini, my guy said it's either the temperature pressure sensor (97$ my cost) or the inlet pressure sensor (71$). In addition to this, it makes an annoying purring noise, as if a hose is off, but I don't have a code for a leak or anything else. Thinking it has something to do with the turbo relay because of whichever sensor is bad. Just don't have the 170 to drop right now, I have enough for one of the two, bills suck :/

Lastly, I'm getting the red oil icon on the steering wheel monitor. Checked my oil and its full and well, thinking maybe temperature is too hot, even with my fmic, hasn't been an issue before until this sensor went out on me. Leads me to believe it is indeed the temperature pressure sensor, but I'd like to be sure before I go drop a Ben Franklin 30 miles up the road and find out it's not that one..
