Hey All,

So I have a base R56 with a bit of coolant leak from the water pump. The car had the stock plastic housing water pump so I order a metal housing pump. I was wondering if anyone would help me install it. I don't have a garage so can't really go at it my self. Most folks around the net say it shouldn't take more then two hours and there are few guides out there. Has anyone done this for there car and are willing to help me out. I will pay for the services. Thanks!

Also, sorry if I should be posting this same where else.

 

Would also be curious to learn about this and whether some folks out there consider it a preventative measure as well. I'm a fan of the mods which may prevent future issues.

I had this leak for 7 months now and I check the coolant tank every other day and refill if it is near the minimum mark. In the past 7 months I only emptied one gallon of collant (2 gallon total after mixing it with water). The leak is not any worst but that could be because of the cold temperature here.
