Help!!! Not exactly certain how it happened, but my rearview mirror has come off and I can't seem to get it back on. I have an '08 MCS and the mirror has autodimming feature, along with the programmable buttons for garage door openers. I've found something about twisting it back on, but I can't verify that the mirrors they're talking about are the same as mine. I attached a picture of my mirror base.

Can anyone help?

 

Looks like all it needed was a little twist... Instead of trying to put it straight on, just rotate it slightly - 45-90 degrees - to get it in position then slowly rotate it back and it slipped back into place. All better now.
