Hello everybody

I would like to change the radiator fan of Giorgia (R56 justa 2008). The fan is asking to much power due to a struggle. It blows my fuse every time is starts turning... I was just wondering if it would be easy to replace, knowing that is just the fan itself.

Can I just take it out from the front compartment from the hood, and place the new one sliding it down.

I would do some research on putting your car into 'service mode'. This involves removing some trim and fasteners and gives you about 2" more room to between the radiator and engine. IIRC the fan assembly slides out without much trouble, but there is a lot of stuff in the way (I thought that the aux water pump is pretty close to the fan motor).

Just for confirmation it is a justa 2007, so the fan is different from the previous generation. It seems easier to change than the previous model.

 

Sorry, missed that. No turbo=no aux water pump. You will probably have little trouble changing the fan.
