Simply call your dealer and have them run your VIN. They should be eager to do any fixes, as MINI pays the dealer for the work.

I guess I'm in uncharted waiter then. I've got a 2007 MCS with 127,000. Previous owner had the timing chain recall done. Runs great. Have done common maintenance for a 100000 mile car like oil leaks and thermostats. All in all a great car. As I've owned many older cars
This one is no more problematic. Of course my last two cars were a Porsche 928S and a Porsche 944.

I spoke with a MINI dealership about the service history of the prospective vehicle I am purchasing (being sold at an independent dealership) and he said they did the timing chain "inspection" as per the TSB. I asked him what that meant and he really didn't have an answer. So I am wondering did they just "look" at it, or if they actually took action and replaced it as they should have.
