My passenger power window switch is malfunctioning, I took it to Mini and they diagnosed it as having a bad switch. They then quoted me $630 to fix it, which would require a new switch. Now from researching I've seen that I can't replace just that switch and that it has to be the whole panel. What I haven't been able to figure out is if in the r56 it comes separate from heater /w climate control. If someone could please give me some insight on this, cause I did find the whole climate control part but in the diagram pictures I can't tell if it includes the switches. Besides that, the only thing I've seen for the toggle switch area is the cover. If someone can please help me with any information and/or pics or just steer me in the direction to get more info.

I was wondering if someone by any chance knew if all these units with the climate control come with the heated seats "pre-wired" into the control unit. Because my R56 does have heated seats, but the replacement unit I found on eBay does not. But if it is "pre-wired" then I can just change out the switch cover and the heated seat buttons....or do I have to find one with heated seats?

I also found this replacement part, but it has an extra lever than mine (the fog lights) would I be able to just switch out the cover and take out the lever and replace it with the hole cover?
