Help Installing Rear View Mirror Cover

Hello all, could anyone tell me or direct me to instructions on how to install

these rear view mirror caps?

They are easy to install. What year and options R56 MINI do you have? The two main differences are the auto/ manual dim and if you have the universal garage door opener on the bottom.

They all come with double sides tape which you peal and stick. They fit tight and the manual dim ones have a hole in the bottom for the dip switch.

The OEM cap I bought had the adhesive already installed along the inside. The tricky part is just getting the upper edge in place before letting the adhesive come in contact with the mirror housing. It's not as hard as it sounds. You can try a trial fitting before you peel the tape covering off. Good luck!

i just popped mine on for a test fit, did not even uncover the sticky tape ... it fit so well that i left it on, it is not glued at all ... been on almost 2 years now
