Hi, Iam new to this forum. I just bought a 2009 r57 yellow. I noticed the side view mirrors did not operate. They heat up and are able to roll in but both will not adjust. I checked the fuses in the passage kick plate area and they were good.I changed the switch on the drivers door and still nothing. I even took the switch out of my sons r56 and tried it in mine and still no good. Does anyone know what I can check in addition to the stuff I checked?...thanks so much.

 

Are you sure you have Power-fold Mirrors?? It was not standard on the MINI, my '08 was ordered with all packages available in the year, except for NAV and HK...just a thought.

 

Hi, the problem is not the power fold in which does work fine.The problem is the mirror adjusting. They both don't move at all. I bought a new switch and they still don't work.I checked all three fuses as well. The heating option works great also. Its just the mirror adjusting on both not working at all.
