Blackout Headlight trim.

For the second time during highway driving the driver side black headlight trim has blown off. I even noticed days before it was coming loose so I took connectors from the stock trim and fully tightened the black trim. Has anyone else had this problem?

No problems with mine. I suggest that you replace the clips even though they may look fine.

I have only ever had broken clips from me taking the rings on and off a few times. I have the stock chrome ones plastidipped and have had no issue with loosing a ring yet, sometimes with 1 or 2 clips missing/broken.

Dealer installed my black vinyl-ed ones before I drove off the lot and also the Mini-made black plastic ones when the vinyl faded. No issues.
