how's that Evolve-R coming for the N18?

Ok , end of month is in three days so I will wait to order a tune til June 1st in case there's truly news here on evolve . Unless something changes I'll go with the nm tune I guess . I sold my n14 car last month and will be picking up my n18 this week .
Had a Cobb ap stage 3 on the n14 and absolutely loved it as I'm always upset by the lack of power these things have stock so no way I'm driving my n18 for more then a day stock . Obviously I have all the goodies - Fmic , cai , 3 alta downpipe back , alta DV , etc

 

Has anyone else experienced the problem of when reloading stock tuning. The O2 sensor and cat Readiness monitors will switch to ready while driving, but back to unready when the engine is turned off?

 

Any update on the N18 tuning solution?

 

Micromini, we seem to have a very similar setup but you got a stage 5? Anyways why are you going back to stock?

 

You'd be better off contacting Evolve Automotive in the UK directly by email instead of the US retailer on this site.

My guess is their answer to your question will be a diplomatic not at this time. Have you tried visiting their site to see what they offer for the R56.

Our new Mini cooper will be in shortly and we will be doing some testing. We have been able to do it but want to do more testing before we release it. I will make a thread when our new car comes in!

 

actual OBD tuning would be awesome to have. Shipping an ECU in to have a flash performed is a massive PITA

Yeah, I've tried they have been very helpful, in trying to figure out why it's not responding properly and sending modified stock tuning and such. Unfortunately to no avail. I was seeing if anyone else had this issue. Santy- I have to switch back to pass emissions, or I can't renew my registration.

I have to give Mateen at Evolve a thumbs up for getting back to me fast, always, regarding my tune.

On another note, both Evolve USA and Evolve UK need to seriously hire someone to do their website updates and stuff. The brand almost seems dead if you go on the webpage. All sorts of links leading to nowhere, counter-intuitive design and lack of products, information and updates.

Fix it please!!!

 

I've dealt with Salman and Mateen they were both great.

@Micro what type of inspection do they do up there. I just had mine inspected for MD before Christmas and i was there out of there in about 5 minutes. I did not change anything in my setup and running Evolve stage 3. Its was just the OBD reading for me

 

Mine is an visual inspection and obdii,
I can't pass the pretest- due to to many readiness monitors- not being ready.
