R56 fog light issue

Hi guys,

Was cruising down the highway today and my mini beeped at me and showed this message.

"Fog light front left failure"

Does this just mean the bulb has blown? Are the fog lights fused?I'm a little confused because the fog lights were off when this message came on.

I won't have time to pull them out until the weekend so just wondering if anyone else has had this come up before?

I have a 2009 MCS and am in Australia if that changes anything

Thanks in advance

Dane

I recently had the same warning light. With DRL's the eyebrow light is on also. It turned out to be just the bulb of one of the eyebrow lights.

I had the same issue a couple months ago. I had aftermarket bulbs on (nokya 2500k hyper yellow) which blew out in about 3 months while my fogs were off. I put my factory bulbs back in and I was good to go

Thanks for your response guys,

I'll try and swap back to the stock ones on the weekend.

Thanks
