R56 Craven Short Shifter and NM cover
Craven Short Shifter and NM cover
I recently installed the Craven Adj Short Shifter and I did not put a cover over the shift linkage under the car.
I'm having second thoughts and I was hoping someone could answer definitively:
Do the Craven Short Shifter and NM cover work well together?
Specifically: Can I use the lowest setting on the shifter with no rubbing or other adverse effects?
I'm either going to make a cover or buy the NM one but only if I can use the lowest setting on the craven shifter
Thanks in advance.

I had the Craven Speed short shifter installed for well over 2 years with no cover and never had a problem. I swapped out my exhaust last year and had my mechanic install the NM cover at that time. I have always had the short shifter on its lowest setting. It does not rub and the two work well together.
