R56 Head Gasket

I am currently partially rebuilding due to a blown head gasket. I figured i may as well check on my pistons while im that far apart.

Currently i am looking at a head gasket, the head gaskets kits, head bolts, a timing chain tensioner (for good measure) and a few other small goodies.

My question is does anyone know where i can find a "How to" on this.

Also does anyone know where i can find a list of parts needed?

Lastly while i have it tore that far apart, i will have a couple hundred extra to spare. Any extra goodies anyone recommends?

My suggestion is get a Bentley manual before you even start this project. Read and understand it then get all the parts and tools together that you will need.

Try looking up cylinder head removal you will have better luck. Also the Bentley manual will really explain the how to's where the Haynes won't
