R56 Any problems upgrading front brakes only?
Any problems upgrading front brakes only?
I only drive approximately 4-5k miles a year. Well, my front brakes are stock and almost due for replacement (sensor shows less than 1k miles left) but my rear brakes have at least 5k miles left according to that sensor. (That's over a year left by my driving).
Is there anything wrong with upgrading the brake pads and rotors of just the front brakes only to aftermarket ECS Geomet rotors and EBC redstuff pads, but leaving the rears stock? Does it throw off balance in any way?
I'm pretty handy, but I'm paying a shop to do my brakes for safety. That would mean additional labor costs when I eventually do the rears, but I just wanted to get some advice from the NAM community in thi. Thanks.

You can upgrade the front brakes only with no issues, we've had several customers do that.
But you may also want to check out our WMW rotors they are great value for the money we also have a drilled and slotted option, and we carry the EBC redstuff pads too.
