Have you decided on a Mini yet? Would you be interested in a 08 R56S? Mine in particular. I have personally fixed all the problems that plague the N14:

Water pump (March 2013)
Thermostat Housing (March 2013)
Oil supply/return lines (February 2013)
Time chain tensioner upgrade (May 2013)
