Still in search of my mini...

Question: Can you get additional warranty thru mini if you buy a used mini MCS that is still under the factory warrant?

I ask this because I've found an '11 that is loaded (nav, leather, jcw front brakes, hk, cold weather, et al) but has 36xxx miles....vs a 2012 MCS that is relatively less endowed that has 14xxx but is blessed by a "mini next" status.

Their list prices are: $22992 for the '12 and $20198 for the '11

Just seems like there could be a lot more to go wrong with the '11 and all it's bells and whistles, but the performance mods are calling.....ugh!!!! If additional coverage could be had......game changer?

 

The dealer should be willing to MININext the 11 if you cough up the additional 1500 or so to do it.

 

You can always add a warranty to a used car regardless of the factory warranty.

 

I bought my '12 countryman non s at a VW dealership with only 12k miles on it, I bought an extended warranty that covers everything through any dealership up to 75k miles. should be well worth it.
