It looks absolutely RIDICULOUS. The bike is taller and longer than the car lmao!

I'll snap a picture later and post. But I'm sure folks on the road must've been like...what an idiot. hahaha

yeah...this is a stupid new thread...how do I delete this...

I have 2 26" MTBs and just use a hitch mount.

Thanks Yeti....I actually never even considered a hitch mount as I didn't think it was available given the way the exhaust exits.

Mind= blown.

I have an R53 and use a Mini Do More hitch for my 42lb freeride machine and one other bike.

I like having my 29er on the roof. I chose mini partly because it's one of the few cars that looks good with a roof rack.
Now my 52er is a slightly different story...

AHHHHhahaha!! that's awesome!! See now THAT would be cool to see.

I totally agree, I love the mini even more after throwing on a thule rack kit (didn't go with stock cross bars). I re-used aero bars from an old Sorento...so they're a little longer than recommended, but it doesn't look ridiculous. Add on the slick fairing and I think the whole set up really comlpiments the mini. I have the SAME bike rack you have there, but I actually reversed it (front wheel points to the rear).

And in case anyone is wondering...no, the thule roof rack doesn't affect sun roof operation by itself. Barely. The window jjjuuusssttt scrapes under the rear aero bar. BUT, with any rack attachment...it will, as the bolts used to hold the attachment will contact the sliding window. I'm still able to crack them open...just can't slide it back.
