I've got an '08 Justa that has run great for 70K miles. The check engine light has been coming on lately, so I attempted to run a diagnostic using an OBDii gauge that I had leftover from a previous car (a dearly-loved Volvo that threw check engine codes more often than not).

But when I connect the OBDii, it thinks awhile and then returns "Linking Error." It won't even read my VIN.

Since the check engine light has been coming on--and it stays on for three or four days, goes off for a day, then returns--I have not noticed any decrease in power, so I've just been ignoring it.

Thoughts?
