Hood Pin/ Quick Release parts
Has anyone installed aftermarket quick release hood pins on there MINI? I'm looking for a write-up/how to guide. Maybe someone knows of a link?

Ya I saw those and that's what I'm going to get. I need how-to so I can install them and not pay for someone else to do it.

I think these are the ones the JCW Challenge MINI uses if I'm not mistaken...

whatever you do, DONT cheap out on the pin kit. a crappy one will RUST.
trust me, i know...

There should be instructions that come with them. Though why do you want them? Are you running a CF hood or something?

agreed; not to be an *** or anything, but what is the point if you cant SEE the hood pins?
