2009 base model h, where to find a good code reader

Hello, i have a 2009 mini base model h, when i first got it there wasnt a code reader available, are the code readers that are affordable that will read and reset codes available now?

If so what do you guys reccommend?

Welcome aboard. You can get this one

mine has 165,000 miles on it, i now have the DEATH RATTLE!
I have been reading all night....it would appear i should buy the whole timing chain kit and just go ahead and replace the chain rails sprocket and tensioner....sound right?
I printed the instructions and have a really good friend thats been a mechanic his whole life and can do anything. It appears to not be too tough of a job?

Sounds right if you narrowed it down to the tensioner. Its not to hard and since you have mechanic friends you should be ok. Good luck and keep us posted.
