Hi everyone,

Running out of time to remove the old English Oak dash trim pieces off my totaled 07 Mini Hardtop and since it will be a royal pain to drive hundreds of miles to the car, I hope someone knows whether the trim will actually fit on a new car? Especially the secret compartment?

I called the parts desk and they said all of the parts have different numbers so they have no idea if they will fit. : ( Wish I could find out so I can just lay this to rest and move on.

In short yes.

I just traded my 07 in and really wanted to take off my brushed aluminum dash pieces to put on my 2013. I did some research on fitting and removal and they do fit.

Check on youtube for how to remove, i never found the door handle removal procedure. The one behind the tack is simple the secret compartment is a little more of a pain.

note: the fitment may not be perfect as wood is not plastic and might be slightly off, but i am sure a little modding will make it fit.

The t15 is in my set and i don't have anything special, just HF.

The wood would be nice to keep as i do not think you are able to order it anymore.

Same reason i wanted to keep the brushed aluminum its not order-able any more except in special packages. But i liked the striped alum just fine.
