Stupid question (yes it exists) - washer fluid

My car was basically out of washer fluid when I bought it last week. ,ads it in to dealer to have it topped off. The kid filling it overfilled it and spilled it all down the side of the reservoir.

Any issues with this? I'm assuming it'll be fine, but I'm a tad paranoid about the new car.

Anyways, guess you thought a stupid question didn't exist huh? HAHA

If animals drink up the spilled fluid, they could get methanol poisoning,
but the MINI should be no worse for it.

I'd rinse it off, but that's just me.

It is essentially "soapy water" which is what most of us use to wash cars So as already pointed out, car will be fine but for your peace of mind, rinse it off

Just wait for the first time you drive through a puddle of dirty water!! Owww!!
Only thing worse is when a sea-gull flies overhead and gives you a present!!
As said before, all is fine, life goes on. Most every fluid under the hood is ok to drip on stuff with the exception of brake fluid...that WILL harm paint if not wiped off.
Just remember, it may be blue, but it is NOT the blue juice your summer camp camp served...this blue washer fluid can make you blind!!
