THIS is what you need to blow the doors off any Lexus!

I hate the low-end performance of MINIs, but once you have a head of steam,

Mini for me is the best var you can't drive but I think mini should put a 2.0 motor that stock Hp would be 250hp but mini is mini is car that has history nice look and performance I think I would send my turbo to gpopshop and get a reentech tuning and a alta Intercooler may be I would nos beat a Lexus is 350 but the real thing I am love with my n18 mini 

It has also pulled slightly on a stock g37 6 speed and badly on 2 350z. I know from my time on g35/37 forums, the consensus is thst the is350 is faster in a straight line vs 6spd g37 but loses out a bit in the handling dept. I would say that the mini would have potential to keep up or possibly pull slightly with substantial mods but probably not without an aggressive tune and meth injection. While we never took the car to the track I know a friends stage 3 gti put about 3 cars on us from 40-120 and he ran a 13.7 at 103 so I would say with current mods I am probably inbthe neighborhood of a 14 flat at about 100. I also flat foot shift so I tend to milk a bit more out of the car than some people who shift conservatively
With a downpipe and catless exhaust, couldn't you go to stage 2 on your AP?

I for one, and probably many here would not want to be on the receiving end of that "proof" you ask for Kurt.

Yeah I bought my MINI for fun and track use. But dude really if you like turbo's and rwd systems for drag use check out the 13' Hyundai Genesis 2.0t. Drag with that. It has a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. Try not to hit anyone on the road if your street racing. I used to be like you when I was 17.

Well, you're the moderator. If it's so serious, delete the guy's thread. Don't look at me, I didn't start it. I just think the reaction was a little over the top. It's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.

Maybe I'm totally wrong and nobody on this forum ever drives over the speed limit or tints their windows too dark or installs illegal lighting or downpipes or breaks any laws whatsoever.

Chill yo!

Most forums work like this, at least the reputed ones do. If you or anyone indulges in speeding or reckless driving, it is generally advised you don't. And taking it to the track is just a suggestion, albeit a good and sensible one. So if anyone wants to continue driving like a hooligan they can do so (you've been advised not to), just keep it out of the forum. That's all.

No one is preaching here. Speeding is not right, by law. Just as violation of the tint-rules and exhaust-sound limits.

Encouraging speeding on a public forum will only attract unwanted legal attention.

My 2 cents.

I have a stock turbo and just punched the numbers and mathematically my car would be able to beat the Is350.

my tuned 350z embarrasses my wifes MCS and other MCS's as well as any IS series. 350z are not not as slow as you claim, and 370 are a much better platform. But hey,....."a r53 with magnaflow exhaust, act clutch and flywheel,19% alta pulley and 2 % crank pulley and unichip was very very fast in the racetrack in the 1/4 mile",
... ^^sounds like a waste in $$$ for horsepower t be honest

I'll believe that if I actually see that at the track with my own eyes, not some lame *** youtube vid. I would be more inclined to belive a consistant 14.5 for everyday drivers at best.
