No Boost....sometimes

So this has happened like 4 times already.

Sometimes when I am driving my CEL comes on and then I get no boost. I have a boost gauge and it goes to atmospheric pressure when I floor it. In addition, I can still her the recirculation valve opening but no boost. I'm thinking maybe the wastegate has something to do with it. Or maybe the recirculation valve itself (aftermarket forge valve).

Anyone have this problem?? It's been bugging me cause it goes away then comes back on sometimes when the engine has been off for a while.
I'm waiting for access to a CEL scanner so at least I can have an idea of what the trigger is about.

It would help if you have the car scanned and reply back with the MINI diagnostic trouble code (DTC) or the federally mandated "P-code(s)".
Sounds like the car is going in and out of Limp Mode, where performance is significantly reduced by the ECU to protect the engine and powertrain.

Bottom line, have it scanned ASAP and reply back with ALL of the stored codes.
